With the successful completion of the FBRH GRI Standards Certified, IEMA and CIM Recognised Training Course, you will receive a certificate directly from the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and a Certificate to show that you have completed an Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment (IEMA) Approved Course.


These certificates will enable you to:

  • Demonstrate to potential employers/ clients that you have completed training with the know-how needed to begin ASAP a GRI Standards Sustainability report 
  • Grow in your current job, making the most of your newly acquired sustainability skills 

 

GRI Exam to become a "GRI Certified Sustainability Professional"

It is important to note that if you wish to become a "GRI Certified Sustainability Professional" you will need to take the GRI Exam:
  1. with this course you will have completed three of of the five Continuous Education Units (CEUs) 
  2. you will need to complete two more CEUs so you will be eligible to take the GRI exam:
    • "Sustainability Reporting Process"*
    • "Integrating the SDGs into your reporting process"*

About the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA)

IEMA is the largest professional body for environmental and sustainability practitioners in the United Kingdom and worldwide, with more than 14,000 members in over 100 countries. IEMA is in the process of applying for a Royal Charter. As a chartered body, IEMA would be formally recognised by the UK Government to develop and regulate the profession (corporate sustainability, environmental management, and impact assessment).
